Eluned Parrott AM, David Melding AM, Llyr Huws Gruffydd AM and Ken Skates AM all spoke about their experiences of mental ill health and the impact that stigma and discrimination can have on people’s lives and their recovery.

Assembly Members from all four parties are speaking out about their experience of mental health problems in a series of highly personal blog posts and a landmark debate in the Senedd. Eluned Parrott AM, Ken Skates AM, David Melding AM and Llyr Huws Gruffydd AM have all written about periods of mental ill health in blog entries for the Time to Change Wales campaignwebsite. For some, this is the first time they have disclosed their illnesses to friends or family.
