Building independence
| We manage a range of supported housing, from 24-hour staffed projects that provide intensive support to services offering tenants the reassurance of support for a few hours each day. Each service is designed to support people in developing daily living skills (such as shopping, cleaning, cooking and budgeting), in making healthier lifestyle choices, in accessing education, training and leisure opportunities and in taking the next steps towards independent living.
We also provide support to people in their own homes, who may be struggling to manage their housing tenancies and financial obligations because of their mental ill health. We can provide support around debt management, budgeting and claiming benefits, as well as daily living skills, accessing education, training, employment and leisure opportunities and improving physical wellbeing. The services we offer will vary from area to area; to find out what is available in a particular location please contact your local office or email enquiries@gofal.org.uk |
